My name is Francesco Padovani, I am currently living in London and this is my personal website.Let me tell you the story of my career so far...

• After high school, back in 2007 , I decided to enroll at University of Milan: i choosed the Network & Systems Security course, which was unique in Italy at that time.
  The professional roles related to the computer security were nebulous, not very perceptible, considered by most of the companies as an ordinary computer professional.

• Now the situation has changed: entire sectors of IT security exist and the investments are bigger, because everyone realised that the risks of not being protected is very high. However, for the general public, my figure is still associated to a movie stereotype: it's not rare to hear funny statements such as " .... ah ! You're a hacker ! " or " .... computer security? ah! You nerd geek! " , but now I've been used to that!

• The first 3 years passed quickly: I was sorrounded by enthusiast mates who were also curious about every little initiative. Beyond the essential theoretical training base, I've always tried to do a healthy dose of practical activities. I remember i enjoyed much this time in Uni.

• In 2010 I decided to end my three-years university degree with an internship in a company that works in Computer Forensics, conducting technical surveys for courts.

• After the bachelor's degree, I immediately had the opportunity to start a 360° IT professional experience in a small, local company but which was always ready to invest and push for security solutions. I'd like to thank my boss and colleague Matteo Cuscusa for giving me the opportunity to integrate the professional experience with the programme of the following two years of the master degree.

• The following two years were the most exciting: being able to combine a practical application to all the theoretical rudiments I was learning at the university was for me a source of huge satisfactions!

• After getting the Master Degree -in 2013 - I needed a new challange: I decided to leave my lovely Italy and migrate to London.I was sure it could give me lots of opportunities to experience, both professionally and in my personal life.

• 

  In the british capital I was first hired by one of the biggest post-production facility based in the center of London: the vibe that i could feel every day was amazing, young and dynamic, the people was lovely. My role here was to manage the Network, support the System infrastructure (and its expansion), with always an eye to prevent and control security risks.

• 

  I really enjoyed those years but afters 3 years i then decided to move forward and find a job completely focused on Security: at the moment i am working in a leading quantitative research and technology company as a Security specialist, and everything is great and promising for the future of my career.

During my spare time I like to join the Security Community in talks, conferences or meetups. I also carry on personal projects and I am always keen to discuss new brilliant ideas,
